Shana Kamper, Principal
I am both honored and humbled to return to Redlands East Valley as Principal. I first joined the Wildcat family in 2012 as a teacher on assignment before moving into administration. After leaving REV in 2015, I had the opportunity to serve as an Assistant Principal at Redlands High School for three years. I then served as Principal of Kimberly Elementary School for five years. It’s exciting to see some of my former Kimberly students here on campus as Wildcats!
I am a firm believer that the culture of a campus can have a direct impact on the academic achievement and overall well-being of our students. At REV, we believe in core values that are important character traits for success both inside and outside the classroom - The REVWAY. Success is also built upon good attendance, good behavior, and good grades. We encourage students to be involved in school activities to prepare themselves for opportunities after high school and to create lasting memories of their high school years. I look forward to working with our students and families to support them in making the most of their time at REV. Go Wildcats!

Heidi VanDeventer, Assistant Principal
Hi Wildcat Family! I am excited to be a part of the team here at REV. I started teaching in the fall of 1992 in San Diego, CA. I moved to Redlands in the Summer of 1997. I have taught Math, Science, ELD, and Social Studies in Middle School and Math in High School. My administration experience includes Middle School and High School Assistant Principalships.
I believe all students can learn if they believe in themselves. Kobe Bryant said, “If you don’t believe in yourself, no one will do it for you.” I value the REV community and believe we can do anything if we put our minds together. I look forward to working with the entire REV community to build a foundation for our students’ future. Go Wildcats!

Todd Harris, Assistant Principal
Hello, my name is Todd Harris, and I am excited to serve as an assistant principal at Redlands East Valley High School. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from California State University, San Bernardino, and my master's degree in educational administration from the University of Redlands. Over the past 30 years, I have had the privilege of serving in education as both a teacher, coach, and an administrator, gaining valuable experience and building strong connections with students, staff, and families.
I am truly looking forward to another great year at REV, working together to support student success and foster a positive school community. I’m excited for all the great things our students and staff will accomplish this year–and as always, Go Wildcats!

Doug McCasey, Assistant Principal
Hello, I am very excited to be a Wildcat and look forward to serving the REV community. This will be my 23rd year in Education. I started teaching at San Jacinto High School in 2004 after earning my bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education (History and English) from Central Michigan University. As an administrator for the last 13 years, I have primarily worked in student services and athletics at both the site and district levels.
During my time working in RUSD, I have always been impressed by the strong school culture at REV, which values diversity, inclusivity, and displaying the REVWAY. I am looking forward to supporting students with their academics, extra-curricular activities, and programs. Let’s make it a great year and Go Wildcats!
