Administration
Shana Kamper, Principal
I am both honored and humbled to return to Redlands East Valley as Principal. I first joined the Wildcat family in 2012 as a teacher on assignment before moving into administration. After leaving REV in 2015, I had the opportunity to serve as an Assistant Principal at Redlands High School for three years. I then served as Principal of Kimberly Elementary School for five years. It’s exciting to see some of my former Kimberly students here on campus as Wildcats!
I am a firm believer that the culture of a campus can have a direct impact on the academic achievement and overall well-being of our students. At REV, we believe in core values that are important character traits for success both inside and outside the classroom - The REVWAY. Success is also built upon good attendance, good behavior, and good grades. We encourage students to be involved in school activities to prepare themselves for opportunities after high school and to create lasting memories of their high school years. I look forward to working with our students and families to support them in making the most of their time at REV. Go Wildcats!

Hi Wildcat Family! I am excited to be a part of the team here at REV. I started teaching in the fall of 1992 in San Diego, CA. I moved to Redlands in the Summer of 1997. I have taught Math, Science, ELD, and Social Studies in Middle School and Math in High School. My administration experience includes Middle School and High School Assistant Principalships.
I believe all students can learn if they believe in themselves. Kobe Bryant said, “If you don’t believe in yourself, no one will do it for you.” I value the REV community and believe we can do anything if we put our minds together. I look forward to working with the entire REV community to build a foundation for our students’ future. Go Wildcats!

Hi Wildcats! I have lived here in Redlands with my two sons for the last 8 years and grew up not too far away in San Bernardino. This is my twelfth year in education. I started out as an elementary school counselor in 2012 and have since worked at all three levels - elementary, middle, and high school. I have worked as a high school assistant principal for the last three years, and I absolutely love getting to support students, staff, and families.
I am passionate about helping others grow to reach their full potential. I firmly believe that this starts with creating a safe and positive learning climate on campus and that this is done through a partnership between students, families, and staff. We each play an important role in this and it is by working together that we make our school community great. I look forward to working with our students, our families, and our staff, and playing my part in building the REV community up to be the best it can be.

I am honored to be part of the Redlands East Valley High School community. With over 20 years in public education, including 17 years as a high school teacher in Los Angeles, my goal has always been to create an environment where every student feels supported and can thrive. I am deeply committed to ensuring equitable opportunities for all students and collaborating with staff, families, and the community to make a positive impact.
Before transitioning into administration, I taught AP Psychology, AP Human Geography, U.S. History, and World History, while also serving as an AVID elective teacher and coordinator. These experiences helped me foster student success and shaped my belief in education’s transformative power.
Throughout my career, I have served in various leadership roles that allowed me to support students in meaningful ways. Before joining REV, I worked as the College and Career Readiness-AVID Coordinator for Riverside County Office of Education, where I expanded access to rigorous academic programs. I also served as an Assistant Principal at Bloomington High School, focusing on student support systems, instructional coaching, and building a collaborative school culture.
I hold a Master of Education in Educational Supervision and Leadership from UCLA’s Principal Leadership Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education Social Studies from Arizona State University. I have been involved in initiatives such as MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) and PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports), which focus on fostering students’ social-emotional and academic growth.
Above all, I believe in education’s ability to change lives. I am dedicated to working with students, staff, and families to ensure that every student at REV has the resources they need to reach their full potential. I look forward to partnering with the REV team to continue building a culture of academic excellence and support for all students.
