For the first time EVER, REV AVID has TWO Regional winners for the AVID Write-Off this year!!  Sophomore Ben Gonzalez has now won it two years in a row and junior Sidney McNeil won it this year as well.
To get a better of understanding of how hard this is to achieve…. 74 high schools participated in this contest.  Only the best essay could be submitted from each site at each grade level, so that means Ben and Sidney’s essays were not only better than 74 other 10th and 11th grade site winners, theirs was better than over 2,200 other students at their grade level who participated in this AVID Write Off! Please congratulate Ben and Sidney when you see them.      J. Bailey
